During my last year as a physics undergrad, I spent some time developing an original concept for robotic actuation. At its core, the idea was to use mechanical transmission to replace individual motors in the design of robotic hands. Alongside developing the theoretical concept, I tried building an actual prototype using the proposed architecture and envisioned possible commercial applications.
